In the not too distant future, Earth has seen some dramatic changes. As humanity embraces the reality that the possibility of other intelligent life existing in our universe is a likely, many efforts have been taken to make first contact. Deep space explorers have been on a lengthy mission to seek out life among our neighboring planets. Earth's astronomers have created powerful radio antennas to send out messages in the hope we get a response. Yet with time, money, and extensive resources spent, we have yet to get even an indication of life elsewhere among the stars. However there are some that believe that our worlds solitude is not an accident.
Our story begins with Trey Warren who lives the life of a Software Engineer for Gatekeeper Communications on the north western continent formerly known as North America. He is married to his college sweetheart, Lizzy. Both have a typical young couples life, though everything started to change seven months ago. Trey soon learns the world he has always known isn't what it seems. He struggles in this predicament as he is the only one that knows the truth. Despite his efforts to inform his closest friend and wife, no one believes him. Soon Trey is presented with two things on his journey, a mysterious package and a difficult choice.
After delving deeper into the clues Trey was presented with, he becomes acquainted with an individual known as an Elder who claims to be from another place, humanities true home. She tries to tell Trey that the Earth he knows is actually a safe haven for humanity. Put there over a millennium ago on a planet located in an infant universe, we were left to multiply and grow. This is why no human on Earth has ever experience extraterrestrial encounters. Our Earth is one that nests in space that has few advanced beings to interfere. Because of this, humans were allowed to thrive in peace for so long, left alone to develop. Trey is one of the few humans who has been told the truth.
